Markdown Syntax

Write rich text with an easy-to-learn markup language. In this article, I’ll show you some important markdown elements. If you like to learn markdown in depth, you can do it easily at markdownguide.org.

First of all, you need a way for code presentation. This can be achieved by a block of code enclosed by three backticks at the beginning and the end:

```
<!-- this is a code block -->
```
And this is, how your code block looks like:

<!-- this is a code block -->

Forcing Line Breaks

For example: one line break

```
<br/>
```

Footnotes

Blockquotes

because it’s easy to use

Conclusion

Markdown is an easy-to-learn markup language and offers much more than what we’ve discussed here in this article, e.g. embedding videos, sounds and images. For more visit markdownguide.org.
